gal: Uniloculaire, gladde, groene, bolvormige gallen, ca 5 mm groot, aan knoppen, stengel of hoofdje; soms enkele bijeen. Larve solitair, geelgroen tot rood. Verpopping in de gal; een of twee generaties per jaar.

gall: Unilocular, smooth, green globular galls, c. 5 mm large, on buds, stem or flower head; sometimes several together. Larva solitary, yellow-green to red. Pupation in the gall. One or two annual generations.
