gal: Larven in de gesloten en misvormde bloemknoppen. Ook kunnen okselknoppen tot een eivormige gal vervormen. De larvekamer is aan de binnenzijde bekleed met mycelium. Larve solitair, geel-oranje; verpopping in de gal. Bivoltien.

gall: Larvae in the closed and malformed flower buds. Also axillay buds may turn into ovoid galls. The inner wall of the gall chamber lined with mycelium. Larva solitary, yellow-orange; pupation in the gall. Bivoltine.
