gal: De kelk is opgeblazen, de kroon daarbinnen is verschrompeld of verdwenen; de vruchten zijn onaangetast. larven wittig of geelwit. Waarschijnlijk univoltien, verpopping in de grond.

gall: The calyx is inflated, the corolla within is stunted or vanished; the fruits are completely intact. Larvae whitish or yellowish white. Probably univoltine; pupation in the ground.

synoniemen: Dasineura palustris (Kieffer, 1909) wordt door Gagné (2010a) en Gagné & Jaschhof (2014a) genoemd als synoniem; dat is bevreemdend, omdat die soort volgens Buhr rode larven zou hebben.

synonyms: Dasineura palustris (Kieffer, 1909) is considered a synonym by Gagné (2010a) and Gagné & Jaschhof (2014a). This is surprising, because, according to Buhr, that species would have red larvae.
