gal: Gallen vooral op de bovenste bladeren van wortelopslag en jonge scheuten. De larven, vaak talrijk, zijn wit tot roodachtig. Verpopping al dan niet in de gal.

gall: Galls mainly the youngest leaves of suckers and new growth. The larvae are often numerous, white or reddish. Some pupate in the gall, others in the ground.
