gal: De bloemknoppen zijn opgezwollen en witbehaard; ze blijven gesloten. Binnenin een aantal witte larven,die zich later in de grond verpoppen.

gall: The flower buds are swollen and white-hairy; the do not open. Inside several white larvae that eventually pupate in the ground.
