gal: Buhr spreekt van een gezwollen, verharde en vergalde bloembodem, maar volgens Spooner & Bowdrey leven de larven in de hoofdjes zonder vergalling te veroorzaken.

gall: Buhr writes about a swollen, sclerified and galled receptacle, but according to Spooner & Bowdrey the larvae live in the flower heads without causing galls.
