gal: mycelium beiderzijdig, melig-vlokkig. Conidia solitair, zonder fibrosine-lichaampjes. Cleistothecia met 3-7 asci, die 3-5 sporen bevatten. Aanhangsels variabel in aantal, myceloid, septaat, aangehecht aan de onderste helft van het cleistothecium, uiteindelijk bruin, soms sterk, koraal-achtig, vertakt, 0.5-1.5 de cleistothecia diameter.

gall: mycelium amphigenous, mealy-flaky. Conidia solitary, without fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia with 3-7 asci, containing 3-5 spores. Appendages variable in number, myceloid, septate, attached at the lower side of the cleistothecium, eventually brown, sometimes strongly, even coralloid, branched, 0.5-1.5 the cleistothecial diameter.
