opmerkingen: mycelium opvallend, wit, beiderzijdig, veelal blijvend. Conidia in ketens, elliptisch, zonder fibrosine-lichaampjes. Cleistothecia met 5-10 asci, die twee (zelden 3) sporen bevatten. Aanhangsels talrijk, aangehecht op en onder de equator. Ze zijn tot tweemaal zo lang als de diameter, slap, mycelioid, hyalien, septaat, gewoonlijk onvertakt.

notes: mycelium conspicuous, white, amphigenous, generally persistent. Conidia in chains, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia with 5-20 asci that contain 2 (rarely 3) spores. Appendages numerous, attached on and below the equator. They are up to 2 x as long as the diameter, flaccid, hyaline, septate, generally unbranched.
