gal Uredinia onderzijdig op gele bladvlekken, lichtbruin, klein, lang door de epidermis bedekt, met veel knotsvormige paraphysen; sporen met 3(4) equatoriale kiemporen. Telia eveneens onderzijdig vaak in rijen, bruinzwart, compact; sporen twee-celllig, 22 x 44 µm, knotsvormig, met afgeronde top.

gall Uredinia hypophyllous on yellow leaf spots, light brown, small, long covered by the epidermis, with many clavate paraphyses; spores with 3(4) equatorial germination pores. Telia hypophyllous as well, often in rows, blackish brown, compact; spores two-cellled, 22 x 44 µm, clavate, apically rounded.
