gal: Geen waardwisseling; geen uredinia. Spermogonia bovenzijdig, geel, tot 0.2 mm. Aecia beiderzijdig, ook op de bldstelenn, geel, wratachtig. Telia onderzijdig, meest op vergeelde bladvlekken, bruinzwart; spopren 2-cellig, oppervlak knobbelig.

gall: No hostplant alternation, no uredinia. Spermogonia epiphylous, yellow, up to 0.2 mm. Aecia amphigenous, also on the petioles, yellow, pustulate. Telia hypophyllous, mostly on yellowed leaf spots, brownish black; spores 2-cellled, knobby.
