gal: uredinia lichtbruin, beiderzijdig, vaak op vergeelde vlekjes. Uredniosporen met (2)3(4) equatoriale kiemporen. Telia tot 1 mm, bruinzwart, beiderzijdig. Teliosporem 2-cellig; wand glad, aan de top verdikt; steel blijvend, barnsteenkleurig, tot half zo lang as de spore; de sporen vallen niet uit,

gall: uredinia light brown, amphhigenous, often on small yellowish spots. Urediniospores with (2)3(4) equatorial pores. Telia up to 1 mm, blackish brown, amphigenous. Teliospores 2-celled; wall smooth, apicaly thickened; pedicel persistent, honey-coloured, up to half as long as the spore; the spores do not fall off.
