gal: Geen waardwisseling. Aecia, uredinia en telia beiderzijdig; aecia in kleine groepen op niet vergalde bladvlekken. Uredinia klein, bruin, vroeg naakt; urediniosporen met 2-3 poren op de equator. Telia dark brown; teliosporen tweecellig, op een afbrekende steel die even lang is als de spore; kiempore van de onderste cel duidelijk boven de equator. Steel kort, afvallend.

gall: No host plant alternation. Aecia, uredinia, and telia amphigenous; aecia in small groups on not galled leaf spots. Uredinia small, brown, soon naked; urediniospores with 2-3 equatorial pores. Telia dark brown; teliopsores two-celled, on a deciduous pedicel about as long as the spore; germination pore of the basal cell well beyond the equator. Pedicel short, falls off.
