gal Langggerekte smalle striemen tussen de nerven van de bladeren; de bruinzwarte sporenballen die hier vrijkomen bestaan uit groepjes van 1-2, soms 3, sporen, geheel omhuld door een laag kleinere steriele cellen. De schimmel is systemisch, aangetaste planten komen niet in bloei.

gall Elongate narrow striae between the nerves of the leaf. The brownish black spore balls that are released here consist of 1-2, sometimes 3, spores, entirely wrapped in a layer of smaller sterile cells. The fungus is systemic, infected plant do not flower.
