gal: ongevleugelde luizen in dichte kolonies op de stengels, in de bloeiwijze en onder de bladen; er is geen waardwisseling. De luizen, en hun omgeving zijn grijs-bepoederd; de siphunculi zijn kort en plomp.

gall: apterae in dense colonies on the stems, in the inflorescence and under the leaves; there is no host alternation. Both the aphids and their surroundings are dusted with grey wax powdee; the siphunculi are short and stout.
