gal: De glanzend bruine bladluizen, niet met was bedekt, zitten op de jonge, nog kortgeleden verhoute twijgen. Ze worden door mieren bezocht. Of ze galvorming veroorzaken is zeer de vraag.

gall: The shining brown aphids, not covered by was, sit on the young, barely woody twigs. They are visited by ants. Their status as gall inducers is very questionable.
