Acodiplosis inulae: galls on Inula britannica

vacated gall; the galls were unusually large, almost a cm.


Unilocular, smooth, green globular galls, c. 5 mm large, on buds, stem or flower head; sometimes several together. Larva solitary, yellow-green to red. Pupation in the gall. One or two annual generations.
