gall

Two generations per year. The spring generation makes a pear shaped, pointed bud gall. The larvae of the summer generation live in the pods. The larvae are solitary (Sébastien Carbonelle, in litt.). In both generations the inside of the gall is lined with a white mycelium, which is the actual larval food.

hostplants

Fabaceae, monophagous

Cytisus grandiflorus, multiflorus, praecox, scoparius.

Mentioned by Dauphin & Aniotsbehere from Calicotome; this is not believable.

inquilines

Trotteria obtusa
