At the end of the stem is a bunch of weakly hairy, disfigured leaves, the whole for the greatest part wrapped in the lower leaf. Pupation in the ground.

Genista sagittalis.

According to Kieffer the larva is white; possibly this statement was based on immature larvae; nevertheless, it makes the identification of the picture above uncertain .
