Of the mine nothing more is known than that it occupied an entire leaflet. It may be assumed that the blotch was full depth and contained many coarse elliptic frass grains.
possibly the host plant was Rosa acicularis or “cinnamomea” (= R. majalis or pendulina)..
tenanted mines were found in early July; the imago appeared in mid-April of the following year.
Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2012).
