Mycelium amphigenous, mainly epiphyllous, thin, white. Appressoria nipple-shaped, lobed or multilobed, solitary or paired. Conidia formed solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia with 4-10 asci, that contain 3-5 spores. Appendage 5-20, equatorial, 1.5-2 x the diameter; ± stiff, brown at the base, 0-1-septate. Apices 3-5 times regularly forked in quick succession.
