mycelium amphigenous, also on the fruits, mostly dispersed, almost persistent. Appressoria lobed or multilobled, single or paired. Conidia solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Foot cell of conidiophore twisted once or twice. Cleistothecia with 4-8 asci, containing 4-6 spores. Appendages 10-30, equatorial, 1-6 x the diameter; they are stiff, brown over at least the basal part, with 4-9 septa; apex not enlarged, loosely or tightly circinate.
