uredinia dark chestnut brown; urediniospores spinulose, 19-21 x 22-42 µm. Between the urediniospores a small number of teliospores is formed; they are one-celled, 14-20 x 15-2 µm; the wall is verrucose, the warts often arranged in a linear pattern.
