This larva had dorsolaterally on one of the first abdominal segments a pair of ring-shaped marks. It may well be pathological; yet the symmetry in their position is intriguing.
De Meijere (1925a, as L. fasciola eupatorii) described the larva; it is yellow and has a rear spiraculum with 3 papillae.
