It comntinues in an exceptionally long, finally rather broad, upper-surface corridor. The corridor can be branched; the sides are irregularly scalloped. Often the corridor follows the leaf margin for some distance. Frass in tiny, scarce, very widely spaced grains. Pupation outside the mine; exit slit in upper epidermis.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-hostplant\">hostplants<\/h3>\n<p>Asteraceae, monophagous<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"latinnames\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bladmineerders.nl\/aposeris\">Aposeris<\/a> foetida.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-phenology\">phenology<\/h3>\n<p>Larvae in July.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-distribution\">distribution within Europe<\/h3>\n<p>Described from southern Germany; recorded from Slovenia by Ma\u010dek (1999a).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"topic\">puparium<\/h3>\n<p>Black, segment limits unclear. Anterior spiracula on short horns, indistinctly bifid, with 16-18 papillae.
