Oviposition at the underside of a needle. At first the larva makes a small gallery, almost completely filled with frass. Soon the larva excises its case, in which it overwinters and continues feeding in spring. The way the case is enlarged is quite complex (see therefore Emmet ao, 1996a).<\/p>\n
