The mine is puckered en contracted in folds. The larva makes several mines, the later ones more in the centre of the leaf. The first mines contains much frass, the later ones little or nothing. Fresh mines are light brown. Pupation either external or internal.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-hostplant\">host plants<\/h3>\n<p>Asteraceae, narrowly oligophagous<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"latinnames\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bladmineerders.nl\/chrysanthemum\">Leucanthemum<\/a> atratum, vulgare; <a href=\"https:\/\/bladmineerders.nl\/tanacetum\">Tanacetum<\/a> corymbosum.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p>Cited by Sz\u0151cs (1977a) als from <em>Chrysanthemum<\/em>, but without a specific name the chaotic nomenclature around the genera <em>Argyranthemum, Chrysanthemum, Leucanthemum, Tanacetum<\/em> precludes an intepretation. Citations of <em>Artemisia absinthium<\/em> probably refer to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/bladmineerders.nl\/scrobipalpa-proclivella\">Scrobipalpa proclivella<\/a><\/em> (Huemer &#038; Karsholt, 2010a).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-phenology\">phenology<\/h3>\n<p>Larvae in October &#8211; November (Hering, 1957a).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-distribution\">BENELUX<\/h3>\n<p>Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2010).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-distribution\">distribution within Europe<\/h3>\n<p>From Germany to Italy, Serbia, and Romania; also Central, East, and South Russia (Fauna Europaea, 2010).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-larva\">larva<\/h3>\n<p>Body yellowish with pink tones; pinacula small, black, ringed with yellow.
