The larva hibernates in the bud, that is eaten out in spring. Then the larva bores in a young shoot, sometimes making an excursion into a leaf that then is completely mined out. Pupation in a dark yellow cocoon in the mine.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-hostplant\">host plants<\/h3>\n<p>Ericaceae, monophagous<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"latinnames\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bladmineerders.nl\/arctostaphylos\">Arctostaphylos<\/a> uva-ursi.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-phenology\">phenology<\/h3>\n<p>Larvae from September till May  ?
