The mine is a gradually widening corridor. The first, narrow, part often closely follows the leaf margin. Frass in central, interrupted line, gradually widening from a very narrow beginning.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-hostplant\">host plants<\/h3>\n<p>Rosaceae, narrowly monophagous<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"latinnames\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bladmineerders.nl\/filipendula\">Filipendula<\/a> ulmaria, vulgaris.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-phenology\">phenology<\/h3>\n<p>Bivoltine; larvae in July and late-August &#8211; October (Emmet, 1983a).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-distribution\">BENELUX<\/h3>\n<p>BE not recorded (Wullaert, 2018a).<\/p>\n<p>NE recorded (Kuchlein &#038; de Vos, 1999a; Microlepidoptera.nl, 2009).<\/p>\n<p>LUX not recorded (Fauna Europaea, 2009).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-distribution\">distribution within Europe<\/h3>\n<p>From Fennoscandia to the Alps and Carpathians, and from Ireland to Poland; disjunct also in Greece (Fauna Europaea, 2009).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-larva\">larva<\/h3>\n<p>Bright amber yellow (Emmer, 1983a); see Gustafsson &#038; van Nieukerken (1990a) for a detailed description.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"head-synonym\">synonyms<\/h3>\n<p><em>Stigmella ulmariae<\/em> Wocke (1979).
