Axel Dehalleux: another demonstration of the expansion of the species

The galls resemble those of Aceria tristriata, but they are higher, distinctly conical.

The species has been described from California; elsewhere reported from Iran (Xue ao). A picture by Manuel Alvarado on the Spanish website Biodiversidad Virtual in the Sierra Nevada in august 2011 might be the first sign of this species in Europe.
