up to 1.5 mm high, smooth, yellowish, conical or globular pustules, at both sides pf the leaves, often in considerable number, with an opening at the underside.

Eriophyes, Phytoptus, fraxinicola; because the name has been forgotten in the Fauna Europaea (2014), it cannot be said which name should be taken as valid.
