on Euphorbia

Poland, Wysokie Bagno Bialowieza © Sébastien Carbonnelle
gall
leaves twisted, sometimes also the plant itself too; leaf margins narrowly rolled in; higher leaves often bunched; flowers greened.
hostplants
Euphorbiaceae, monophagous
Euphorbia amygdaloides, cyparissias, epithymoides, esula, peplus, palustris.
notes
On Euphorbia live a number of Eriophyidae species and genera. The degree of the galling partly depends on the density of the mites on the plant. Without a microscopic study of the mites any identification must be considered tentative.
