Eriophyes marginatus Connold 1901, as described in the booklet by Darlington, obviously is a member of the complex of magnirostris galls. The species (?) is cited in the Fauna Europaea (2014), but is disregarded in the catalogues by Amrine & Stassny and Davis ea. Dauphin & Aniotsbehere en Béguinot do use the name in the combination Aceria tetanothrix marginatus, with Darlington as the author’s name.
notes
Mite-induced leaf margin rollings in other species than the ones mentioned above cannot be identified.
