A corridor, initially narrow, widening quickly. First part of the mine full depth, later alternating upper- and lower-surface. Pupation outside the mine. No differential characters known in mines or larvae with other species. See Doguet (1994a), Warchalowski (2003a), and Rheinheimer & Hassler (2018a) for the differences in the adults of A. orbiculata, globosa, and splendida.
