Very transparent blotch from which short broad lobes may extend. Frass concentrated in the centre. Pupation outside the mine.

From Pyrenees and Belgium to Asia Minor and Mongolia (Warchalowski, 2003a). According to the Fauna Europaea (2007) also from Germany and Denmark to Sweden, Finland and northern Russia.
