Oviposition on the outside of the pods. The larvae develop in the pods, inside the seeds; there also the pupation. The beetles can escape only after the pods have opened spontaneously.

Vicia benghalensis, caroliniana, cracca, grandiflora, pannonica, peregrina, pubescens, sativa & subsp. nigra, sepium, tenuifolia, villosa & subsp. varia.

Also Lens Yus Ramos (1976a). Older references, listed by Decelle & Lodos, do seem less reliable.
