The larva mines the hollow tubular leaves from the tip down. Much frass. Pupation in the soil.

Allium cepa, oleraceum, polyanthum, roseum, schoenoprasum, strictum, ursinum, vineale; Leopoldia comosa.

The mine on A. ursinum is not described.


Larvae in June (Hering, 1957a).
