Amauromyza carlinae (Hering, 1944)
At first a short corridor, generally near the leaf margin. This is continued, and often overrun, by an upper-surface, flat, very shallow blotch. Frass in not very numerous coarse grains scattered in the mine. Pupation external.

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2010).
