Only well over 80 years after its description Gil-Ortiz, Falcó-Garí, Oltra-Moscardó, Martinez, Moreno-Marí & Jiménez-Peydró (2009a) succeeded in associating this species with a hostplant. Unfortunately the mine (if at all there is a mine) remains undescribed.

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2010).
