notes

The illustrated material, from a small botanical garden in Amsterdam, fits well in Spencer’s description of the mine. Equivalent material has been found in Overveen, the JP Tijsse botanical park in Amstelveen and by BJ de Vries in his home garden in Diemen.

The species was described by Spencer (1971b) after material from the botanical garden of Berlin.
