Long, gradually widening, entirely upper-surface corridor. Frass at first in two regular rows of thread fragments, further on in two irregular rows of grains. Pupation outside the mine, exit slit in upper epidermis.

Rear spiraculum resembling the one of Chromatomyia lonicerae, but with more, 16-18, papillae.

Yellow brown.
