A hardly widening corridor from begin to end, yellow green in colour. The start is lower-surface, bur after some time the mine becomes upper-surface. Part of the frass in thread fragments. Pupation outside the mine; exit slit in upper epidermis.

Salix aurita, caprea, myrsinifolia.

Sallows only (Robbins, 1991a)

phenology

Larvae in August (Hering, 1957a).

BENELUX

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2007).

From Scandinavia to Italy, and from the UK to Poland (Fauna Europaea, 2007); also Lithuania, Hungary, Bulgaria.
