puparium

Yellowish white tot yellow-brown before the winter, yellow- to red-brown after. It is depicted by Hering (1924b) en Nowakowski (1973a).

synonyms

Dizygomyza, Phytobia bimaculata; Agromyza basilaris Meigen, 1838; Agromyza laterella Zetterstedt, 1838; Phyllomyza flavocincta Strobl, 1880.

notes

Records in literature from Luzula sylvatica probably refer to Cerodontha silvatica (Groschke), and records from Juncus effusus probably refer to Cerodontha luctuosa (Meigen).

Member of the subgenus Dizygomyza (Nowakowski, 1973a).
