The only, moreover undocumented, reference to a hostplant is by Robbins (1991a): Elytrigia repens.
Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2007).

Yellow-brown, with deep intersegmental constrictions. Rear spiracula on top of two conical divergent protuberances (Spencer, 1969b).
Member of the subgenus Poemyza (Nowakowski, 1973a).
