Cerodontha caricivora (Groschke, 1954)
Mine mostly in the distal part of the leaf. Frass in some large lumps. Pupation within the mine.

C. sylvatica is the main hostplant.
Larvae in (June) July – October, probably in one generation (Nowakowski, 1973a).
Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2010).

Dark brown; rear spiracula on a stout conical projection, each with three papillae.
Mountain species. Memeber of the subgenus Butomomyza (Nowakowski, 1973a).
