Long, upper-surface, gradually widening corridor, usually forming a secondary blotch that can occupy a large part of the leaf. Frass in long thread fragments or pearl chains alternating along the sides of the mine. Pupation outside the mine, exit slit in the lower epidermis.

1.5 mm long, yellow, smooth and shining, with shallow segment limits.
