Mine rather similar to the one of L. flaveola; frass grains large and small, irregularly scattered, with a more fuzzy outline. Pupation probably outside the mine.

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2008).

Reddish brown, rear spiraculum with 3 papillae.


L. pedestris Hendel, 1931. On the base of study of the genitalia modern authors consider this synonymy doubtful.
