Described from Taiwan; found in Europe in France, Switzerland and Czechia (Černý & Merz, 2006a, 2007a); not mentioned by the Fauna Europaea (2010).

Rear spiraculum with three papillae. On the last abdominal segment a pair of projecting tubercles.

notes

It is not clear if the records from Europe, evidently the result of recent introductions, stem from greenhouses, horticultural industry, or free nature.
