Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2010).

Like the puparium of Phytomyza chaerophylli, but less arched, rough, not so shining, and with deeper segment limits.
The status of this species is uncertain. The species is accepted as valid by the Fauna Europaea, but von Tschirnhaus (1999a) did not include it in his checklist of German Agromyzidae.
