Corridor mine, either straight or contorted and in that case sometimes a secondary blotch; upper- or lower-surface, often positioned close to a major vein. Frass in long strings. Pupation within the mine, generally in the base of the leaf.

Not known from the Benelux countries (Fauna Europaea, 2008).
