Long gallery with the sides irregularly scalloped out. The very first part is lower-surface, the remainder is upper-surface. Especially the later part of the mine is very shallow. Frass at first in two rows of grains, later in an indistinct central line. Pupation external, exit slit in the lower epidermis.
